A little appearance  of BAR TRAM at a Brasilian TV .


Renata Simoes come to visit us to talk about the night life and how the Japanese  enjoy drinking in Bars in Tokyo .


The  Urbano Multishow is a Brasilian TV program that shows interesting  lifestyle ,things and places  around the Town . First they started at the big Sao Paulo and now they are showing a bit of the big Tokyo .

Miles Davis "Bitches Brew" マイルス・デイヴィスのビール！ ビッチズブリュ

Over the summer DOGFISH HEAD brewery released a special limited run "Bitches Brew" beer, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the groundbreaking 1970MILES DAVIS  jazz album ”BITCHES BREW.

Here in Japan the summer is over  but still quite hot . There are not so many choices of DOGFISH HEAD beers  in Tokyo  so We would at least celebrate listening to some Miles Davis

ABSINTHE BREVANS HR GIGER

According to Absinthe.de :

Absinthe Brevans is named for Jacques de Brevans, 

author of the French liquor-maker's manual, "La Fabrication des Liqueurs". 

It is based from a recipe in this book dating from 1897. 

The base alcohol is a balanced mixture of wine alcohol and marc 

and the herbs are all of the finest quality.

Note:
Because of the instability of natural chlorophyll,

 this absinthe can change color over time.

Likewise, the color can vary from batch to batch. 

This will not affect the quality of the absinthe. 

It is recommended to store this absinthe at room temperature, 

standing up and in the dark. 

As a serving guide, mix with cold, still water at a ratio of 1 part absinthe to 2 to 5 parts water.

Artwork:
The H.R. Giger painting on this label "Brain Salad Surgery II", was made famous in the 1970's 

as the cover art of the rock group Emerson, Lake and Palmer's album of the same name. 

Along with "Brain Salad Surgery I", the two original paintings were stolen in 2005,

 after a exposition held in Prague. 

A reward of $5,000 US, plus a fully paid weekend at the H.R. Giger museum,

 has been offered for information leading to the location and return 

of these two important works of art.

ラベルに使われている"Brain Salad Surgery２"はH.R.Gigerによって

描かれたものです。７０年代のロックグループ、エマーソンレイク＆

パーマーの同名タイトルのアルバムジャケットとして有名です。

プラハでの展示の後、"Brain Salad Surgery１"とともに

オリジナルの作品は２００５年に盗難にあってしまいました。

H.R.ギガミュージアムは発見や返還にかかわる情報の提供に対して

5000ドルの懸賞金と週末に有給でミュージアムで過ごすことををオフ

ァーています。

彼のアートワークを初めて見たのは数年前、東京のラットホールギャラリーでした。

彼の作品はある程度知ってはいたものの

オリジナル作品をみれたのには本当に興奮しました。

すばらしかった！

CAFE LEHMITZ from ANDERS PETERSEN , at RATHOLE

 Anders Petersen ( 1944-) , a Swedish photographer born in Solna .

  My first time to see his work was AT RATHOLE GALLERY in Tokyo , a couple of years ago . Even though I knew some of his works I was really exited to see the original prints . It was amazing ! .

  "CAFE LEHMITZ " was shoot at hamburg ,Germany  , 1967 . And what surprised me the most  is that he was only 18 years old . It seems that CAFE LEHMITZ was a  place with momentary drunken joy , laughter , and exposed desire . We don't feel any distance between the photographer and the customers . We feel people showing the darkness , loneliness and their beauty .　

  " The first exhibition was held at the LEHMITZ  in 1970 with 350 pictures , he left Sweden with the words that if people recognized themselves in the pictures , they could keep them .When he  returned 10 years later , there was only  one faded photo left on the wall . It was photo of no one but Petersen himself"

   I always keep in mind one of his sentences :

写真集 ”カフェ　リミッツ”は

１９６７年　ドイツのハンブルグで撮影されました。

驚くべきことにそのとき彼はまだ１８歳だったのです。

カフェリミッツは刹那的なアルコールへの陶酔、

笑い、露骨な欲望がうごめいていた場所に見えます。

写真からは撮影者と客たち（被写体）との距離を全く感じさせません。

人々の陰鬱さ、孤独感、美しさを感じ取ることができる作品です。

初めての個展は1970年にリミッツにて行われ、350枚の写真が展示されました。

もし自分が写っているのを見つけたらその写真は持って帰ってもいい、

と言いのこして彼はスウェーデンへと去りました。

１０年後そこへ彼が戻ってきたとき

壁にはたった一枚の色あせた写真が残っているだけでした。

そしてその写真とはぺーターセン自身がひとりで写っている写真だったのでした。

僕は彼の言葉のひとつをいつも忘れないようにしています
